Valley Heights Booster Club

Goal: $6,000.00

Specific Need

The Booster Club met with administration, staff, and coaches last month to discuss ways that the we could support the students of Valley Heights.

With the commitment and generosity of people like you, the Booster club could help the Mustangs purchase new weight room equipment such as a varsity half rack, flat to 90 bench, Kansas power bar, and new flooring for the weight room. We could update the scoring tables used in the elementary school and highschool gyms for Volleyball and Basketball games. We could replace the mats on the stage at the Blue Rapids gym that is used by the Junior high students for basketball games to prevent further student injuries. We could purchase HUDI Assist, which would provide statistical breakdowns of the team sporting events to show our coaches and student athletes how they are performing and help them see what they can do to improve their skills. The mustangs could also use a few more BOSU balls and agility ladders for training. Some of the teams could use new equipment, such as basket balls and golf balls, as well as some golf starter sets, so the school would have clubs available for the students to use. The teams could also use some new water bottles, team towels, and also assistance with purchasing warm-ups and shoes for student atheltes that can not afford to purchase them. We could also purchase the letter jacket patches for all qualifying clubs and teams.

The best part about donating, is that all monitary donations are 100% tax deductable.

Mission

The Valley Heights Booster Club is comprised of Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, Alumni, and Community Members who help fundraise monies and resources to positively support, promote, and enhance the experience of our junior high and high school students while attending Valley Heights. The Booster Club supports ALL student related programs and activities throughout the school year.

Profile

The Booster club will hold several fund raising events this year to help us reach our goals. There is a lot we want to accomplish and Match Day is just the beginning. Sign up to be a booster during our membership drive at the "Match Day Event" and you will recieve some amazing swag!

A $100 donation on match day will get you a Purple membership, which will include a drive way stencil of the school Mascot
A $50 donation on match day will get you a White membership, which will include a "Valley Heights Booster" garden flag
A $25 donation on match day will get you a Black membership, which will include a "Valley Heights" magnet
- Boosters will have their names printed on the back of the event programs, they will also be recognized on special event sineage and banners throughout the school year.

Make sure to check our Valley Heights Booster Club Facebook page and be on the look out for the electonic newsletters that will be sent out weekly from school administration. All activities, events, and fundraising progress will be disclosed at the Booster Club meetings throughout the year.

Without your support, we would not be able to continue provide such outstanding events, programs, and celebrations for our Valley Heights students.

The Booster club sponsors several activities and events throughout the year.

The Booster club is excited to help run the consession stand this year at 5 of the school lead activities this fall and next spring.

The Booster club sponsors and serves a Homecoming meal to the Valley Heights football players and Coaches and its apposing team's players and coaches, prior to the homecoming game.

The Booster club sponsors and serves a meal after the dress rehersal of the school play. This meal is served to the students, faculty, staff, and crew members that are essential in the success of the All School Play.

The Booster club sponsors and serves the Athletic Banquet that is open to the entire Valley Heights Community. The Banquet celebrates our student athletes and recognizes their accomplishments throughout the years.

The Booster club provides scholarship money to (4) Valley Heights Graduates.

The Booster club helps the school and students in more ways than we can list, but below are a few more accomplishments:

The Booster club provided mats for the stage in the High school gym to protect the volleyball and basketball players.

The Booster club provided the bell by the football field, in memory of Coach Whitson.

The Booster club has also provided numerous items to the different clubs and organizations at Valley Heights when their own resources have fallen a bit short.
